"I’ve been reluctant to leave a review hoping they would do the right thing and come fix their mistakes and expect many if you do choose to use them. In 5 years since our house was built we’ve basically had to replace our entire heating system and our ac is on it’s way out, there’s a refrigerant leak that costs us about $600 year to refill. Campo points the finger at the contractor and vice versa. Our daughters bedroom window has been leaking since day one, they came and “fixed” it twice but here we are a few years later and it’s leaking again, they refuse to fix it. I could go on and on, stop into any campo neighborhood ask around about issues people have had. Expect while building to spend and additional 20% minimum on top of purchase price, everything is an upsale and upgrade, they give you the basics."

"Maria’s situation was not the first time this happened. Same here. Be upfront about your timelines. Don’t pressure buyers into signing contracts until you’re ready to build. In response to your response- Yes, the town took the lot, almost 2 years after we signed the contract. About a year from what was our original move in date. When you gave us the bad news about our lot being taken we were told we would probably have had to renegotiate the price like you did with so many others who were waiting years if you did build the house. It’s not right. In the end you cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars dumping us at the worst possible point in the market. You offered zero help or alternatives after we waited 2 years with you. We don’t build everyday, we have no idea that it takes 2 years to split land. Which brings me back to my original statement- be up front with your timelines & don’t sign contracts until you’re ready to build."
