"SCAM ALERT: The owner of this business is Alberto Morales, a well known con man & thief. He came to my home & gave me an estimate to remodel my kitchen. We agreed on a price & he asked for a $4000 deposit which I gave him (big mistake). The following Monday he came to my home and demoed the entire kitchen and didn't come back for a week. After I called him & told him I wanted my money back or else I was taking home to court, he finally showed up. I had the police waiting for him at my home and filed a report against him. In reality he doesn't have a business, just business cards. He actually works as a laborer for a construction company. As it turns out, he used my money to pay back another customer who was taking him to court. I was going to do the same but found out that he is penniless, living with his sister & nephew in Jersey City. The black Jeep he drives belongs to his boss. A few months later, I found out that he did an estimate for a big complex estimated at $150,000 to remodel but he undercut the real contractor by $30,000 to get the job. He was hired and going to collect a $25,000 deposit when I found out & called the customer to tell him the scam Alberto Morales plays on consumers. The customer thanked me and never hired him. I contacted Consumer Affairs and am in the process of having his license revoked forever. The lesson learned here is this: if a contractor doesn't have enough money to start your job & asks for a deposit, DON'T HIRE THEM."
