Reviews
"We worked with Koby on a medium size project and we were very happy with the final results."

"Most amazing service from beginning to end! Thank you thank you!"
"Koby Koltai is a con artist of a "general contractor." Beyond the actual lack of experience working as his own boss, we gave him a chance and got burned big time. Lots of smooth talking, but in actuality lack of access to consistent labor, missed deadlines one after the other, more promises, more chances, left us in the lurch with lots of unfinished and poorly finished work costing additional money, heartache and dust to breathe for many months after. Issues included: (i) scratches on new floors, including from a layer of woodchips covering basement from using it as a molding cutting workshop without asking permission (also clogging furnace and other appliances in the laundry room), (ii) laborers showing up for 2 hours a day and leaving (for a 5-hour "lunch" and not returning), on a consistent basis, not putting in a real day's worth of work and seriously delaying progress toward move-in deadline (except tilers who replaced the first tiler who botched bathroom tile work), (iii) unprofessional living room ceiling work (caked on embarrassing ceiling), (iv) gaps between spotlights and ceiling in family room, (v) amateur bathroom tilework, (vi) missed rotten wood in bathroom exterior wall until told to repair by owner, (vii) neglected to install full waterproofing wall in the bathroom until told to re-open tile to do so by owner, (viii) didn't reinforce/fix floor hole in bathroom floor from ripping out prior tile until told to do so by owner, (ix) didn't install bathroom fixtures as agreed-upon, (x) left unfinished and missing moldings and chipped some from not being careful, (xi) left unpatched holes in kitchen and other walls despite being asked repeatedly to repair, (xii) poorly installed floor saddle in the living room not flush with the kitchen tile, (xiii) closet organizers not reinstalled after being taken apart. Overall, disorganized approach to a large house project that ultimately overwhelmed someone taking an amateur approach. It was ultimately obvious that the contractor took on more than he could handle, did not watch his workers carefully as a contractor should on behalf of the owner, didn't face the music properly when issues were uncovered (although "talked the talk"), didn't step up to do the right thing and truly fix issues (though made promises to do so), didn't keep a spreadsheet of tasks so the process was haphazard and unprofessional, and ultimately disappeared for others to pick up his slack, while collecting 90% of payment."
"Real Honest Company. A real pleasure to work with!"
