"I have used Goldman and Goldman for 4 moderate to major projects in my home over the past years and have been happy with the work done. He seems to have the right contacts in each area of construction I've needed. When our A/C failed, Goldman and Goldman recommended a larger unit than we had originally. Every time we get extreme temperatures, the system they installed handles it with ease while significantly decreasing our energy bills."
"Will never recommend this company to anyone. Was promised a 10-14 day job, but ONE MONTH later the job still isn’t done and Goldman decided to breach contract and stop the project suddenly because he felt his workers did more work than they were paid to do. Was then threatened by him to be taken to court because my father bought his workers lunch one day and according to him the Burger King was an attempt to coerce and extort more work out of them. I was then threatened to be sued for not releasing his tools after multiple attempts to coordinate pick up times. Being that I now only have 2 days to find someone else to finish the job and move into this unfinished place before my current lease ends, I can’t even move in my furniture or begin to clean up his workers’ mess because he has my new apartment held hostage with debris tools and trash. My advice to consumers is to find a company that cares about QUALITY and not just doing a minimal and superficial job. This company was very unprofessional. Goldman did not communicate with his workers and because of that they were at the property unsupervised and without guidance, going above and beyond to ensure the job was done right and not how Goldman wanted the job to be done (cheaply, minimally and sloppy), and this pissed him off to the point of walking off on the job. It was a war just to get the painter to put a second coat over his uneven and sloppy first paint job. No consumer should have to babysit a $10,000 construction project, especially when they live and work in another state. And a consumer definitely shouldn’t be blamed if laborers hired by a contractor don’t follow the rules of his/her own contract. As far as what the workers did complete, I am impressed with how they repaired the walls and ceiling. One star for that. Seek business elsewhere."
