Wasn't looking to rip me off, arrived earlier than estimated time, I was contacted by phone day before appointment to confirm my time frame and honestyled again an hour prior to technician showing up that he was on his way. He explained to me in detail what happened regarding my lifted shingle and assured me that I had nothing to worry about because it was still secured enough and this was caused by the gutter guard and high winds. I was so visibly upset because I had no idea how I would afford another major breakdown in my home, so he reassured me several more times and gave me his card to call him if I had any other problems or concerns and said that he would take care of it. He also warned me that if I did have someone else come to give another estimate to make sure they weren't trying to rip me off by telling me I needed a lot of things replaced on my roof when I don't because basically I have a brand new roof. Even though I did not need their services, a company like Father and Son Exterior should be at the top of the list because you just don't come across a good, honest, compassionate company that places their customers best interest first, rather than we're just out to make another buck business in the world we live in today! So thank you Father and Son Exterior!"

"Chimney re build : The owner responded promptly to my call and came to the house to give us an estimate. The job was scheduled immediately. The crew arrive promptly and worked non stop all day with no breaks. The father oversaw the entire operation. There were two brothers who were extremely nice and worked well together. They were her for three days rebuilding the chimney.. on the second day another person came to help , very personable and he worked well with the two brothers.. when they realized on the third day that rain was on its eay a third crew came to do the flashing and and clean up. They cleaned up everything at the end of the job. The finished product was great and the top of the chimney was done nicer than my old one. I have used them before and will use their service again. There was a small accident with a chunk of cement that fell and hit a pipe and the owner paid for the repair without any problem. I was very happy. ."

"Good luck if you make the mistake of setting an appointment with Father & Son Exterior. Don't count on them showing up or even notifying you they are not coming. I rarely leave a negative review... rarely, as in almost never. But Father & Son Exterior is getting one star from me today for their unbelievably pathetic customer service. I contacted Father & Son Exterior to inspect and clean my fireplace and chimney, and they scheduled an appointment for a four-hour window from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The appointment was on Saturday, so I spent my time cleaning our garage and shed while I waited for a call on my cell. They said they would call when the technician was 20 minutes out from my address. At 1:15 I received a text on my cell phone showing I had a missed 1:00 call on my landline with a voicemail. I checked the voicemail, and it was Father & Son Exterior calling and leaving a message on my landline to call back to confirm someone is at home. At 1:18 pm (18 minutes after the voicemail on my landline) I called the Father & Son Exterior office to confirm I was here and had been here all morning waiting for a cell phone call. I was told by the Father & Son operator that because I had not answered the 1:00 call, the technician had "left my area", and I would have to reschedule for next Saturday (a week away.) I asked the operator why they had not used the cell number I had left them, and she had no reason to give me for not calling my cell. She just again stated that I could reschedule for next Saturday. I again told the operator that my appointment had been for today/Saturday, for 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. When I missed the 1:00 call and returned the voicemail 18 minutes later (18 minutes into the four hour window) she just repeated the technician "had left the area, and would not be coming today." When I told her I was extremely unhappy with their lack of service, and that I would be leaving a negative review, her answer was, "Have a wonderful day." I cannot leave a review of Father & Son's expertise or the quality of their work, as they never showed up for the job. But I can definitely review the inept way they handle service calls. They made an appointment for a four-hour window, and then cancelled the four-hour window when the customer didn't immediately answer their call on a wrong line. If they had called the cell I number I had specifically given them (instead of the landline attached to my Home Advisor account), I would have immediately answered their call. Their mistake became my problem. Think twice before scheduling an appointment with Father & Son Exterior -- make sure you have lots of extra time to waste when they don’t show up."
