The staff was above and beyond helpful and able to answer all of our questions. Very polite and courteous. They did a beautiful job on our home. The clean up was outstanding! They left no nails or extra siding pieces anywhere. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on there home."

"I just had a similar experience to another reviewer here. I was called 30 minutes before my scheduled quote appt. The receptionist informed me that there was an unforeseen (reasonable) issue and the guy that was coming out to quote the work was called to the job site. Could we reschedule for later in the day? I said I had an appt but I would check with my husband. I then told her that my husband would be avail. She said that wouldn't work because both my husband and I needed to be avail for the appt. She then said that they would find someone to make the original earlier appt. I told her that no one informed me of need both my husband and I, when I made the appt. and that both of us would not be avail for the orig appt. Additionally, it would be near impossible to have both of us avail for a quote appt. We are both just too busy. After some silence, I suggested that we just cancel the appt (that I made time for today!!!). She agreed. There are many companies that do what Collingwood does. They are one of the larger ones, but clearly not one of the easier ones to deal with. We've already received 3 other quotes for our 3 exterior doors, 3 storm doors and roof that need to be re-done. We will obtain a couple more and steer very clear from this company. I was somewhat leery of this company after we made the orig appt (we saw them at the Home Show), as some reviews on our local town Facebook page did not speak fondly of them. I should have cancelled the appt back when I read those and saved some of my time today!"

"Very professional and honest company. They helped me with my roof through my insurance company. After the snow storm in January this year. The work was completed within 2 weeks and have them contracted to do my siding in July. Thank you"

"We first used Collingwood Construction to fix our roof after loosing some shingles. They immediately covered the roof so we would not have any problems with leaks. When the insurance adjuster came out to review the claim, there was a Collingwood representative there to make sure the claim covered the repairs. After the roof was was opened there was rafter damage found. Again Collingwood worked with the insurance company. We also had to replace some siding. Larry gave us suggestions to use existing siding to replace the broken pieces and add an accent along the bottom with Versetta Stone. The additional cost was well worth the investment to the curb appeal of our home. Many of our neighbors commented on how nice our home looked. Recently my 90 year old mother moved in with us and we needed to make our bathroom accessible for her to use. Collingwood came out and gave us a free estimate. This was an expense we were not ready spend but was very necessary for the safety of Mom. Collingwood worked with us to keep our costs to a minimum and still came out with a beautiful new shower. The service we received and the quality of workmanship performed lets me recommend using this company for any roofing, siding and remodeling needs."
