"We used Chase Menkena – Advanced Drywall and Construction Services -- at the suggestion of our local hardware store, and we were glad we took that advice. A large oak tree had fallen on the roof of our house, crashing through the roof and the ceiling of a bedroom on the top floor. The ceiling repair was going to be complicated by the fact that the ceiling studs had been torn out, and the old plaster was over a heavy metal mesh that did not appear to be anchored to the studs. Chase and his crew tackled the job with professionalism and skill – they cut out the damaged plaster, rebuilt the ceiling framing, attached new studs, and put up new drywall to replace the old plaster. The work they did was amazing, especially the drywall “mud” that was expertly shaped to duplicate the old curved edge of the ceiling. By the time they painted the new ceiling and wall, there was no way to tell that there had ever been any damage. Chase and his crew were meticulous, and they cleaned up everything at the end of each of the three days they worked on the job. We could not have been happier with their work. I would turn to Chase first for any additional work that we might need on our house, especially since they do not limit themselves to drywall. I highly recommend him."
