"It's absolutely beautiful and peaceful the trail is a bit on the more experience side though as you traverse the gorge to s beautiful waterfall so not for those with mobility issues. The wind smells absolutely magnificent and you rarely hear anything besides wilderness great place to get away and enjoy for a hour or so what it lacks in amenities and size it makes up for in beauty and seclusion cell service was basically non existent besides right at the top end of the trail where it loops back to the parking area. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys hiking and woods proper footwear I feel is important here as anyone in shoes not meant for such a task will find it difficult and may take away from the experience."
"Beautiful here...and for me it's home! SUNY Cortland has large nature preserve here with great trails! Come check it out!!"
"The perfect balance of untouched wilderness with just enough organization to keep a family on track. Basic trail markers, lots to see, enough elevation change to keep it interesting but not so much that it's a challenge for families with young children."
"Beautiful place to go for a hike. Can be a little muddy and wet after it rains and there's sections where little streams run through the trail. Very nice place. Quiet and very peaceful. It's also on a list of old growth forests. So if you're into older trees it's also a good spot."
"Good place to access the Fingerlakes trail. Follow the blue blazes to the white blazes, from there you can follow the main Fingerlakes trail either North or South. Either way is some great trail. There is also a Fingerlakes / North Country Trail Kiosk at the trailhead. There is plenty of places to park. There are also some additional hiking options on trails maintained by SUNY Cortland"
