"SERIOUS WARNING TO EVERYONE: DO NOT SEE AARON TAYLOR, OR ANYONE AT THIS PRACTICE FOR THAT MATTER, IF YOU WANT TO LIVE A LONG NORMAL HEALTHY LIFE! I had ankle surgery after a near fatal car accident. My engine in my car crushed my leg during this accident which caused several rare breaks two several bones in my leg and I required several surgeries and I was admitted to the hospital for a few weeks. My second day there they took me for my first ankle surgery with Dr Aaron Taylor, who I had never met yet, and they told me he was putting an external fixator also called an ex-fix, on my shin in down to my ankle, which would be these metal rods sticking into my bones and coming out through my legs which would keep the broken bones in place until the swelling went down. Dan wants the swelling went down enough, he could put the titanium rods and screws in to help the bones heal. So I was told I would have two surgeries - first the external fixator, then the titanium rods and screws. So I went for the external fixator and they took me back to my room and said that Dr Taylor would come down and speak with me later, since all surgeons come down and check on their patients at the end of the day to meet with them and see if they have any questions. Around 6 or 7:00 p.m. Dr Taylor still had never come to see me. Finally a nurse came into my room and said that she was coming on behalf of Dr Taylor and he had asked her to come on his behalf to let me know that he was not going to come and see me today, but he wanted this nurse to let me know that she would be able to answer any questions I had about this external fixator on my leg, and then she delivered the bad news. which immediately made me understand why he didn't come and tell me himself - she told me that Dr Taylor scheduled me for another surgery in 2 days because he doesn't like the way these rods look and he wants to reposition some of the rods. The nurse said that Dr Taylor would come and speak with me tomorrow in case I had any questions about the neck surgery. All of these staff must have thought I was stupid or something, so I told her I'm not stupid and I'm a medical student in college, so I know what they're doing, and I know what's going on here, and basically what they're saying is medical term for the doctor messed up and now he needs to fix it in 2 days but you can't say it that way or I'll sue you. And the nurse giggled and said well I wouldn't say that... So after the plates and screws and all that finally got put in at the end, my last appointment I had with Dr Taylor was at 4:00 in the afternoon I think I was there on time and someone took me to the exam room and I was in a wheelchair but I was supposed to keep my foot elevated so while I'm in my wheelchair, my foot's hanging down and will eventually start to swell and then hurt more. Orders to elevate my foot originally. I sat in that exam room for 2 and 1/2 hours waiting for Dr Taylor to come and examine me! My appointment was at 4:00 and he did not come in until 6:40 p.m. very very swollen and very very sore so I told him I said I'm in a lot of pain right now because I haven't been able to elevate my leg for several hours and my leg's been hanging down here for a while now. And he immediately said to me that I need to stop looking for pain pills to help me and if I still think that pain pills are going to help me with my pain at this point then I need to go to the methadone clinic!!! He made false visit summary notes in our visit summaries to make it appear as if I'm seeking pain medication as a drug addict and when I saw him doing that I walked out of our last appointment, so to make himself look like the better person he immediately discharged me as a patient, probably to save his own skin probably before I had a chance to dismiss him as my doctor. I've been calling the office for my records, but every time I call all of those girls that answer keep hanging up on me as soon as I tell them who I am. So I'm calling Monday and if they hang up I'm calling my lawyer back! ENOUGH!"
"Attentive listener, patient, thorough and kind."
