"I went to a hearing on behalf of a friend who Got himself involved with law enforcement because of mental illness and the court wanted to make sure he was of sound mind and in my opinion he was not of sound mind and should not be allowed to go to trial. Delaware county is not a place to get your self involved with law enforcement because you most likely will find yourself in jail over a minor offense. If you are thinking about breaking the law in Delaware county you should think twice about it because there is no tolerance of this kind of behavior. When I am in these up state county's I obey all of the laws including all of the traffic regulations and the speed limits. Keep in mind if you are breaking any traffic laws and have an accident where someone is injured or worse a fatality is involved you can find yourself in prison for a very long time. DWI or DUI is a very serious crime in these up state county's and law enforcement agencies vigorously investigates and enforce these laws and these crimes, so a word to the wise if you are planing to drive in Delaware county or anywhere in NYS leave your pot and any medication at home and don't drive if you have taken any medication or if you plan to operate a motor vehicle in NYS or up state New York especially in Delaware county. I have many friends who are Police officers and attorneys,, the above advise is good advise anywhere you plan to operate a motor vehicle these days !!!"
