"Why are there only one or two train all day? How is there public wifi throughout town but not here? Airplanes starting to offer free wifi but the lirr can't? Why is the building never open? Maybe vending machines? No food anywhere near walking distance. Just turn it into a deli or something. BTW how is the train so so very slow and almost always delayed? Currently going approximately 30 mph with constant slow downs. I don't understand why it's constantly more expensive to buy a ticket but the rail cars are as slow as the ones from the 19th century. Why is an off peak LIRR $30.00 and Jitney offpeak $40.00? Jitney is every hour pretty much and much quicker straight shot to the city. Compared to the LIRR which only has a 6:30 am or 10:30 am train. I also don't like the lirr and Samuel Parrish's role in stealing the Shinnecock Hills in 1859. 3 hour train ride to Penn Station on an express train BTW. Just got a 45 minute delay update the exact moment it was meant to arrive. Was that not possible an hour ago?"
"it is great to have a station that can accomodate a longer train but i think it needs to be electrified to fit the commuters and needs a secodn platform."
"Nice place but there should be seats for commuters"
"Lirr on time quote unquote"
"A clean train station in a picturesque location, the station and its adjacent parking has lovely plantings which make it fit into its surroundings. The current station was built in 1902, so it has all the design flairs you'd expect for that era. While there is nobody on duty here, there is a station with a rest room, which is nice."
