Reviews
"This review is specifically for the Paumanok path (off of Deerfield Rd.) to the Laurel Woods Trail (Long Loop). I can't get over how beautiful this trail smelled, the type of Cypress that grows in this areas releases an intoxicating aroma. The trails here are fairly easy, perfect for hiking with an older dog. At some points in the trail in the trees and vines are almost hugging you in "fairy tale sort of way. The best part is that this trail is not well known and far out into long island. Truly peaceful."
"Very beautiful wood view of the hills of Noyac. The trail itself is not that difficult, but depending on the season the trail can be hard to see. Keep a good size bottle of tick repellant with you as well, there is a large amount of underbrush and natural grasses along the trail. Broken up into two larger loops, the trail features glacial geologic features, as well as an old farm now overgrown with evergreens. Overall a beautiful and relaxing hike through the woods."
