"Just went today with my girlfriend and our dog, it was a beautiful trail and I'm sure the MTB trail is fun as well. But we came home with chiggers. And not just a couple, I'm talking hundreds. Beware especially if you have a furry companion. I'm sure a hike in the winter won't be a problem if you really wanted to because they burrow for winter."
