Reviews
"Slowest service station I have ever been to. They make people wait minutes at the pump before helping them."
"Took in for oil change and they WITHOUT ASKING took off my brand new windshield wipers and put cheap new ones on. I complained and demanded my wipers back. They said that they were broken and threw them out. They were not broken and were only a few weeks old. Never went back and let all my friends and neighbors who use them know. We now use Northport Auto across the street. The owner Sal is an honest guy."
"The old guy is so miserable, rude and disrespectful to customers that I’m surprised anyone in the community ever goes there. I spent $1200 for four new tires and he still shows no appreciation. What really has prompted this bad review is the fact that my wife went there with a flat tire nervous upset late for work and the guy just yells and screams and orders her around as if she was some flunky that he can treat anyway he likes I’m so disgusted with this place my family and I will never go back there again. On the other hand the young Asian mechanic is so polite respectful and friendly and will run to help anyone out I don’t know how he works for this place for so long"
"It’s somewhat unfortunate that I’m writing this poor review, as my experiences prior to my last have generally been positive. They will plug a tire puncture for $10 without a notice. On my last visit, the attendant filled my car with 87 and not the 93 it requires. I verbally requested Premium upon handing my card, and it’s clearly marked “93 MIN” in inside the gas fill door. For his part, when I noticed and called out the mistake, the attendant was apologetic and quick to admit the mistake. He offered me the contact information of his manager (Rich, the owner), stating that he would rectify the issue. It’s important to call out that the vehicle in question is a modern performance vehicle with a manufacturer requirement for 93 octane. While the vehicle won’t likely sustain damage on 87, it has to be driven with excessive care and otherwise operates in a safe mode. To any motorsports enthusiast, this is a total inconvenience. While frustrating until this point, here’s the reason for the one star. When I called and spoke to Rich, he was rude, otherwise unprofessional, and completely blew me off. He informed me that he’s been a mechanic for decades, and offered (I assume sarcastically) to show me his personal garage full of cars. This was stated to enforce his claim that it doesn’t matter. No sincere apology, no offer for a refund, and otherwise no true care or attempt of reconciliation for a mistake that was made. He had options to make it right, but that’s not what he chose to do. Will not be returning."
"Oil pressure dropped > knew it was the oil sensor and advised them. They replaced the sensor9which typically costs about $30) and charged me $268. Wrote words like "HIGH VOLTAGE" on the receipt. They also told me a bearing was going and ball joint was shot. I'm an engineer and know minimal voltage flows through that sensor. I guess they thought I was stupid. Anyway 3 months later their sensor went again. Had it replaced with an OEM sensor. Cost to install $40 by my regular mechanic. Stay away. They prey in ignorance."
