"When to use the restroom in the cell phone lot, and the urinals were overflowing Third World countries are in better shape Not only should they be cleaned and functioning, somebody must be held accountable That won't happen"
"Having OMNY - “tap to pay” from your cellphone/card is a fantastic improvement to the AirTrain, now you don’t have to fiddle with the old Metro Cards. However, you want me to pay $8.25 for your podunk train that’s slow, often broken, and ill equipped for its intended use case - people with a ton of luggage that just want to get to their destinations? I don’t want to learn a whole new modality of transportation. I can’t believe you even have more than one line of service to navigate. Please just extend the subway to the terminals. It’s worth it. I know it’s complicated, but that’s really just an excuse from the sad people who run this fiefdom."
"Going home it's perfect but coming in to work it's not that great. I leave early so I don't be late for work."
"There is a scam in place to take the AirTrain to JFK. When entering the station, there are 8 ticket machines equipped with both cash and card payment methods. All machines have been disabled for card payment and they accept cash only. Therefore, you need to withdraw money at an ATM they provide. I withdrew 80$ and got charged 4$ commission. The money is given all in pieces of 20$. The ticket price is 8$ and the machine gives only coin change up to 9$. Therefore you also need to split the money. Conveniently, there is a shop on the same floor, which refuses to split money for free. I had to buy a 2.50$ bottle of water and i was able to split the money. This brings us up to a total of 6.5$ I had to pay extra to the ticket price just to be able to buy a ticket. This kind of collusion among the train company, the atm company and the shop is outrageous. Shame on you"
"It’s easy to use, if you are not sure where the train is heading you can always ask. It stops at all terminal, pay attention to the audio annunciator, if you wanna exit Jamaica station ( leaving the airport) you will be forced to pay 5$ every time you cross the gate, and for the subway 2.75$. if you leave the subway and you want to come back to it again wether you are heading to the airport or somewhere else you have to pay again the same amount, Metrocard is one time payment. If you are going to the car rental offices you have to take the air train and get off at Federal circle, it’s about 10 minutes."
