Being an overnight valet manager in Portland Maine for years with nearly two decades in customer service, I have to say that this is the absolute worst parking experience I've ever had in any city, ever. I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from these scam artists and taking your parking to an honest, reputable garage. Here is my experience with them; My wife and I came down for the weekend of May 17th-May 19th for a Friday night concert at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. We stayed at a Marriott hotel and decided to park our vehicle with City Park, Battery Place Parking garage just a short walk from the hotel and booked & paid for that parking from 3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday through the ParkWiz app. My wife and I decided to grab dinner Saturday night before a 730 pm helicopter tour flying out of New Jersey. Being a valet myself, I SPECIFICALLY asked the attendant on duty before we left if we had in and out privileges and again SPECIFICALLY asked him if we would be charged again if we left and came back later Saturday night. He assured me that we did have in and out privileges, would not be charged again and would just need to get a new ticket when we returned but that our weekend parking reservation was indeed good until Sunday at 3pm and not to worry. So we did just as he said and when we came back, got a new ticket. No issues there. The next morning after checking out of the hotel, we went to grab the car to head back to Maine. The new attendant that was on duty told us that there was not in and out privileges and that we would need to pay an additional $57 if we wanted our vehicle. I explained to him what the valet the night before had told us and also showed him our ticket through the ParkWiz app that confirmed we had until 3pm Sunday for parking. He told us that's not uow it worked and it was too bad that the other employee told us that the previous night, but that he was not getting our vehicle without us paying an additional 57$ on top of the nearly $80 we had already paid for the entire weekend. I asked him to get his manager or call the guy that was on the night before to confirm this with him and he said the best he would do would be to call his manager but that he was going to say the same thing, which he did. Very poorly run company with employees that very clearly either haven't been trained/ don't know the rules or are simply okay with straight up lying to people and scamming them out of their hard earned money. Either way, it's a bad look and a horrible way to run a business. Will calling my bank and having the charged reversed for the unauthorized charge and will ABSOLUTELY never use this company for parking again!"
