"I've recently been coming here often to park my car because I am pregnant and my doctors office is a block away. As any native Brooklyn resident knows downtown Brooklyn especially court st has no parking,so I've found this garage and don't mind taking the walk. I always book online because it's $20 for about 3-4 hours and I never know how long my appointment will be. The guys are often very respectful and nice when I come and go. However today was not the case I come from my prenatal appointment to get my car first things first I'm going back and forth with the parking attendant about clicking on a link to basically confirm I'm picking up my car. As I've stated I park here often So I know what link he is referring to! However today I didn't receive the link so we go back and forth in which he keeps telling me to click on OLD LINKS from previous parking dates I inform him it won't come up because it's from a prior date in which I already checked out. Okay so we figure that out I go to give my ticket and show my barcode that I get via email since I book this parking online. The very rude ! Guy in the office has the audacity to tell me I came in today 7 whole mins early and next time he will charge me because I can't do that .... Um excuse me?!? Granted I get his stand point but he was very rude and reprimanded me as if I was a child!! How dare you talk to a pregnant woman like that! And I could see if I was a whole 30 mins early but 7 mins?!? Are you kidding me. What ever manager or office guy was there today 4/22/22 at 2:40pm is very rude and needs a training on customer service !"

"Update: after promising that the construction would be done by July, zero progress has been made and the garage operations are at disorderly as has been the case throughout the never ending construction process. SP blames Brookfield and Brookfield seems to be blaming SP - in the meantime, loyal customers are getting squeezed (literally). Apparently Brookfield is unable to complete the renovations and SP, despite having a substantial reduced capacity appears to cram the same number of cars into the garage, creating total mayhem. This used to be a nice, convenient garage with self park options for monthly customers. Since they started renovations in December of last year, this place has turned into a complete disaster. Hairpin turns, gridlock, massive amounts of dust on your car. Worst of all, many times i can’t find anywhere to park (despite being a monthly customer) as the renovations have taken a huge number of spots out of use. Extremely little progress has been made on the renovations over the last 9 months so I would expect this situation to continue for some time. Note: I spoke to the manager a few weeks ago, and he promised me an adjustment to my rate on account of the atrocious situation. However, no such discount has been applied. Extremely disingenuous. Shame on SP Parking / Brookfield for being involved with this catastrophe w/o taking real corrective action. Edit: the manager did indeed speak to me and offer a $100 credit, which works out to a discount of less than 2% on the annual rate. Related - the situation in the garage has gone from bad to worse. What used to be a quick drop off/pickup is now a 20 minute affair, driving around looking for a space, arguing with the attendants, squeezing your car through narrow tunnels. The worst part of this is that there has been absolutely ZERO COMMUNICATION from the management about how long this is supposed to go on for. Given how little progress has been made over the span of 10 months it would be great if there could be some sort of plan communicated to long-suffering monthly customers. Actually, I apologize, there was some communication. A note posted by the elevator did inform us in December that there would be some renovations and also happy holidays. That note is still there and has not been updated since, mocking the customers every time you angrily exit the garage after the ordeal of parking."

"If you want your car in safe hands, don’t trust this lot. The employee that i have an issue with is Emmanuel A., i gave him my car yesterday to park in the lot, i came back and handled him my ticket, only for him to go back to the office and doesn’t get my keys or go to the car. I waited and waited and he’s still in the office not doing anything or helping any customers. I then told him to please go and get my car for me and when he finally gets my car, there’s multiple scratches on my car. A parking lot is suppose to be a safe place for you to park your car in, but i end up with horrible customer service and scratches when i just purchased my car last week. I came in today to try and speak to a supervisor, i went in and Emmanuel was there, i explained to him the situation and trying to figure out how this can happen. He was being very defensive and was not willing to hear me out. That’s when i asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me that there’s none at the location at the moment so i then asked for the contact number or any information for the supervisor. He starts arguing with me telling me that the lot is not responsible for what happens to my car, how can you say that to a customer and expect them to trust you by leaving their car with you. I am very frustrated and need a supervisor or someone in charge to contact me because the contact info Emmanuel gave me, i called the numbers and got no response."

"It was my first time at this garage. When I drove in one of the parking attendants took in my car quickly without any issues. When I came to pick up the car I gave the same attendant a credit card to pay the fee and a tip. God forbid should he say “Thank you” for the tip. Parking is a little pricey at this place. Other than that the overall experience was good."
