"Dropoff and pickup were fine. but my car was returned to me with dozens of berries stuck to hood, roof and truck lid of my car. I was unable to wash them off with water and had to carefully scrap them off"
"Every time I use their service it works out great!! They are prompt at dropping off and picking up from the airport and my car is always safe and secure! I highly recommend them!!"
"The shuttle driver left my luggage at a terminal and tried to blame me for leaving it there when I never even left the shuttle at said terminal. Then when I landed I called and they told me I owed $150 cash, no problem. I get to the lot and they told me it'd be $240 AND demanded it cash? Mind you it was 9:45pm, there was 2 guys working and the guy had the audacity to tell me "idk who told you that". Theres 2 of you, either way you told me $150 so THAT is what I'm paying. They rip you off, lie, and from what I've seen on other cars in the lot damage vehicles. Everything about this place is shady. I'd never park there again."
"Came to pick up my car I noticed there were scratches on the left rear bumper which wasn’t there before. The manager Alex called me and tried to say it was there before when I have before and after pictures. I am pissed. I take care of my car, thought this would be a service that would take care of my car unfortunately they didn’t. I also received my car back with the engine check light on along with all settings reset; looked as if my car had to be jumped. They did have fast shuttle service there were there on time to take me to the airport and pick me up. Driver was speeding."
"I parked here 6/30/21 - 7/5/21. Why am I writing a review over one year later? Let me explain: In the past, I usually parked at Smartpark LGA, but they closed their lot down once air traffic came to a screeching halt during the pandemic. One good thing Smartpark did was walked around and videotaped each car when it gets dropped off to make sure the car is in the same condition when it leaves and there is proof on their end. Since Smartpark LGA closed, I chose Airpark, which I had used some years ago. When I returned from my trip to pick up my car, I noticed oil/gas stains on the body of my car, as well as the rear windshield. This only could have happened if a car was above mine on a hydraulic lift (which they use on the lot). The car above mine leaked fluids all over my car, ruining the paint job and glass in the process. I complained to Chad at the front desk. He told me I'd have to file a claim which would be reviewed by the manager, who was not present at the time. I took some photos (attached). He suggested I wash the car and contact them if it didn't come out. I did get the car cleaned and the stains did not come out. On 7/6/21, I heard from Mo (manager?). He said he'd refund me the cost of my stay ($133) that I could use to get the car fully detailed. He said to contact them if that didn't work out. On 7/8/21, I spoke to Mo and told him the stains could not be removed through a car wash. He said Airpark could compensate me 2 days of parking next time I parked, since the stains were not fixable through a usual car wash. He said they couldn't refund me more than what I paid. Fast forward to 2022, knowing that I could have used my free two days for a trip I was taking, I opted to park at LaGuardia for merely $10 more at Terminal B. I figured my car had already gotten ruined once, I wouldn't have to wait for a shuttle, and why should I give Airpark my business? Next, the reason I am writing this review: On 8/13/22, I went to a car dealer to assess my car for a possible trade in, he asked me what happened with the stains on the body and windshield. He told me those stains could only be fixed by removing the rear window and side fender, matching the paint, etc. I told him that it happened when I parked at the airport last year. I asked him how much my trade in was negatively impacted and he estimated at least $1,000 retail (since the dealer's costs would have been lower since they would do it all internally at cost). I am disappointed in myself for not making a bigger fuss to Airpark and forcing them to file an insurance claim with their carrier, since the parking lot (I can only assume) is insured. The trip to the car dealer was the topper and while I can't do anything at this point with Airpark, I can merely state the facts, supported by the pictures I took last year and emails I sent to Mo at the time (not attached). All I can say is buyer beware. Sometimes paying a little more (to park elsewhere) is worth it, if you can afford it."
