"A beautiful location with a nature center and lots of amazing trails for all skill levels. Saw a deer! The hike was peaceful and so beautiful as you could hear all nature sounds including the babbling brooks. Highly recommend!"
"This Nature Center is absolutely gorgeous! The woods there are beautiful. They have a live turtle named Fern and lots of birds to view. Their gift shop is nice and they have a great winter Market once a month. Come check it out!"
"They have ample parking. The have maps you can take on the trail board when you pull up. Also have large porta potties available in front of parking lot. They have information on various programs they offer at the park. The trails are clearly marked. Which is nice for less experienced hikers so you don't get confused. Wasn't sure what all the wood stuff was supposed to be on the rabbit trail. They have some flowers planted in different areas. Along with different benches to sit down on. Overall it was ok. We did the squirrel and rabbit trail. The squirrel trail goes down and up hill. They have varying fungi growing aswell. These are all no dogs allowed trails."
"When we visited Skaneateles for several days in July, we looked for hiking trails nearby. Few are available. We checked out Baltimore Woods Nature Center in nearby Marcellus. A day camp primarily used the center, which is beautiful. What lucky kids! We enjoyed walking several of the trails and recommend it. The only people we saw during our stay were the day campers and counselors"
"Great place to go hiking. Trails are well marked and maps are placed all over to help you navigate. Most of the trails are easy with a few being moderate. The longest trail is about a mile and a half. The only downside is dogs are not allowed."
