"Allwood Park & Ride is a huge transit hub, both interstate and locally. It is served by five bus lines, four of which, the 191, 192, 195, and 199, service travel to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City, while the other bus route, the 705, travels locally between Passaic Bus Terminal and Willowbrook Mall. While in itself, the Park Ride is a handy place to get to where you're going, it also has numerous pitfalls. Parking is always at a premium, and finding a space on weekdays can be like trying to solve, to the last digit, the value of pi. First timers and infrequent users can have a devil of a time trying to figure out payment and spots. Then there is is the agony of trying to cross Allwood Road when everyone is trying to get out. Not much fun there. And on top of it all, the New York busses almost always screen the view of the 705 bus, which causes passengers to miss that bus. All told, great idea, but there are a lot of bugs in it."
"Daily spaces are marked with “D” and you need to buy parking which is $3 for the day. Buses came frequently at rush hour into NYC."

"The park and ride is pretty good, bus service is another matter. The main issues are no restrooms, no covered seating for passengers heading away from NYC, single lane exits from the parking lots which causes delays when people need to wait to turn left, express buses still make a bunch of stops in Clifton and on route 3 (not truly express into NYC), and some dispatchers enforce a ridiculous 35 passenger limit on buses that stop here - meaning you have to wait for the next bus."
