"So disappointed .. been a customer for almost 7 years spent easily 5-8k on admissions food a massages in that time .. last time I went I was kicked out an woke up an hour before they closed an told we had to get up a go .. and it’s only gotten more expensive over the years an honestly dirtier an gross ..the dry saunas are wonderful but the water areas are pretty much problematic on all levels .. to many matters worse aside from the smell of mildew an mold I saw a absolute unit gigantic monster of roach like it was so big an disgusting my god an it was all over the water Steven room for women .. I just am so skeeved out a disappointed w the treatment of the staff , along w the cleanliness .. like I get it’s not sojo obviously but it’s beyond disgusting that with the money they make they can’t redo the women’s water area it’s truly gross and just disappointing.. I’m super sad this was my go to spot to decompress an escape society but now I’m just going to save an go to sojo when I can afford it .. sad to see this place go down in such a short amount of time"
"Highly recommend King Spa! I got to go on their Labour Day Special, which included a shuttle bus from Manhattan and all day admission. We really enjoyed the facilities at King Spa, including the different sauna rooms, the infrared room, and the food court! Prices are a little bit pricey for the food, but that was to be expected. Staff was very friendly, and we had a lovely tour from Michael who explained the history of and how to use the various amenities."
"Im very disappointed. My son was hungry they used to do last call 10:30 it was 10:20 now. The rice drink is no longer a bowl they give you a cup for $10 dollars. The kitchen closed 10:55 and when I asked the guy he just said it’s closed but they don’t stay true to 11:00pm. I come here after work to have a good time with family and they just ruined it. I’ve been coming here for years!!! And this was the final horrible taste they left in my mouth. Being cheap on the drinks is one thing but I absolutely am disgusted that I paid 129 bucks just to get in to be treated horribly. We were hungry we just wanted eggs.. it’s ridiculous I never write bad reviews but king spa you disappointed a regular here with over 10 years of coming here I think I’m done!"
"No complaints. Minimal renovating but How could it be affordable today? I'm thankful they can pay the bills."
"Ive been coming here for the past 5 or so years and it keeps getting better over time! I went into a few of their sweat rooms (Mineral and some others) which were all very clean and sparsely attended on a Thursday afternoon. The staff here is lovely as well. I managed to eat twice in a few hours. The food is delicious as well with vegetarian options at the juice bar. My favorite is the yoni steam which always feels so refreshing and nourishing. The body scrub was the best Ive had so far (Ive been to 3 other korean spas) and the most amazing Unique service is cupping on the spine and also your front side! I left spending more than I planned but overall everything is priced fairly and tips are mandatory. Other bonuses include free cell phone charging areas (its in a lock box where you put in your own unique code) and alkaline water throughout. The newest change for me is the the bus pick up area from manhattan moved to Dunkin Donuts (5th ave and w.31st) street."
