Ridgewood

"With level platforms, cycle racks, ample parking, elevators, wheelchair accessibility, and lots of frequency from the two lines merging at this station until Suffern, it's a pretty nice station with lots of bus connections. For anybody looking to buy tickets coming from East Ridgewood, go into the underpass to Track 2. The only odd thing I found about this station was 1. a smell of urine in some enclosed areas and 2. the track numbers. It goes from Track 3 to Track 1 to Track 2 or vice versa. I also find it dumb that the old platform facing the taxi stand and Broad Street is not in use - it would be very convenient. It would've been much better if they kept that platform in use and stopped using the center island platform, but that's just a nitpick."

"Ridgewood Train Station is one very convenient location along the Main/Bergen Line. The two lines converge or diverge (depending on your direction of travel) just south of this station. As a result, if you're traveling to any intermediate station along either line southbound between here and Secaucus, make sure you're getting on the right train. The station has a unique three platform boarding with two side platforms and a center platform. As a result, boarding can be confusing, so if you are unfamiliar with the station, arrive a little earlier, to make sure you are boarding in the right place. Around the station, there are numerous shops and eateries abounding, ranging from the economic to the high end, so take the opportunity to sample them when you are in the area."

"Rarely do I give 5 stars to a station but it's accessible, with ramps and elevators and it has bike racks, bathrooms and clean and well kept platforms. As of this writing, the parking lot has construction going on the add more parking spaces to a large lot, with multiple parking lots on either side of the platform(s)."

"Good suburban train station. The main building is completely inclosed and accessible during peak times only. Has A.C. which is nice and cool during the summer and central heating with is nice and warm in winter. Has small breakfast stand during rush hour mornings and cafe style seating to complement the benches. Best off using the mobile app to buy tickets but you can by them from the ticket booth during the week if you are old school. Has ticket vending machines outside the station house for when the booth inside is closed. But again I would recommend using the mobile app to buy all NJ transit tix. The ticket booth staff isn't very knowledgeable which is no surprise. Plenty of bike racks. Some bike parking is covered. Easy walk to downtown Ridgewood shops and nightlife."
