"Don't forget that parking is $30! And the food is super expensive too. Shade was appreciated in the places there was some. Steam train was a nice relaxing ride. The roller coasters are great but the attendant at the Patriot could have better filled each ride -- lots of empty seats means longer wait times. Mamba was tops -- excellent view and good ride. Leave a lunch in the car and get a reentry pass to eat it. We went on a Saturday 15 minutes before opening (opens at 11) and had long waits to park and then to enter. But there would have been hardly any wait if we'd have come 20" later, and it wouldn't have affected wait times at the rides. Get tickets in advance and at a discount."
"Great place for some much needed family fun!! Good prices when it comes to buying tickets for the park. Crazy though that you charge almost the same price for parking that you charge for a ticket. There are lots of food options, and if you choose to pay the $55 for the food and theme park, it's worth it. I was just sad that I didn't get to try the brisket or pulled pork since they were out. It's nice that you can also go to The Oceans of Fun Waterpark to cool off, then back to the theme park. Will definitely be back again!"
"Great park to take the family. Go during the week to avoid lines. Purchase the fast pass for faster ride access. The park needs to add fast pass signs to direct foot traffic where to go way before the ride. It was a little confusing on where to go for fast pass access and some of the rides that accepted said they accepted fast pass didn't and we had to wait in the regular lines. Overall it was a fun day at both parks with the family."
"Drove from Omaha, NE in the morning and back at night in the same day. Don’t spend money on food here, prices are high and the food around KC is way better. Pack a lunch in and carry water bottles around to refill inside the parks for free. Travel light and wear shoes because you will be walking a lot. Try to go on weekdays for short wait times. Wait time for the Mamba was 5 minutes on Thursday. Parking is 30$ but you are able to drive over the median (more like a speed bump) if you go in the pick up/ drop off lane for free. Price for entry is 40$/person for both parks. Definitely worth it for how cool the parks are and the quality and speeds of the rides. My favorite rides were the Mamba and the new one called the Zambezi Zinger. The tallest ride in the park gives you an overview of the whole park which is very nice around golden hour. And don’t forget the smaller rides as they were a nice buffer inbetween the big rides because of how intense they were. Go to the biggest rides right as the park opens to reduce your wait times. Oceans of Fun is nice too however the concrete is scalding hot without shoes/ slippers and they won’t let you use tubes unless you’re taking it up for a slide. Great place to take an even number of people for a day trip. Great date spot too if you are prepared."
"Worlds of Fun Kansas City is a great place for families to go to ride rides and spend the day. Wait times for rides can be short at times and other times 45 minutes to an hour. I was disappointed that many of the drink stands were not open as we have purchased the drink pass… you had to go halfway around the park to find a stand open to quench your thirst. They had the stands that were open rotating throughout the park and when you were thirsty and headed for a stand you thought was open… well you would get there and no such luck… then you had to search for another stand… also we purchased fast passes for our whole group and some of the workers were slow at working the fast passers in for the rides. We paid a lot extra to be fast lane. We also still waited in line at the top in the lines once getting up there. Was definitely better than standing in line for 45 minutes to an hour! This park is always a fun time. It has handicap accessibilities as well."
