"Great short easy hike with many small bridges and streams that kids love. At this time see nature at it's best with mushrooms and many beautiful salamanders. The trail is in and out and ends with a small waterfall that has a little pool at it's bottom (go swimming). No fee to enter. The parking lot at the trail head is small so try to avoid the busy days or come early to secure a spot. Not for strollers."
"Easy one mile walk in the woods. Great for kids and families. We’ve seen plenty of kids and groups here on the weekend. On weekday it’s pretty empty and plenty of parking in the parking lot and across the road. Once you get to the waterfall there is another trail to the left that follows a narrow and more challenging trail to another waterfall. It’s only a half a mile walk to the other fall. You can also take the 3.6 mile loop to the PEEC ridgeline trail if you want a nice, longer hike or to see the PEEC building."
"Small gravel parking area -- connected to Hornbecks trail and Hornbecks river campsites via a small path next to a farm. Nice place to access the campsite from a non-river route."
"Nice place. We arrived early and were the 1st vehicle, so parking was no problem. There were a lot of bugs when we were there, so be prepared if this is a problem for you. The stream was flowing, and the trail was wide and clear. Easy walk to the 1st waterfall but very difficult and potentially dangerous after that. My wife wouldn't go any further. Good luck!"
