"Child's State Park is a true gem, offering a tranquil escape into nature's beauty. During my visit, the majestic waterfalls left me in awe. The well-maintained trails guided me to breathtaking viewpoints, where towering falls gracefully plunged into picturesque pools. The serene atmosphere provided a much-needed respite from the chaos of everyday life. Child's State Park and its awe-inspiring waterfalls are a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat. When we're not selling real estate, we love to explore Pike County's natural wonders, and Child's State Park is an absolute marvel worth experiencing."
"Needs cleaning up but still love the waterfalls. There was a few people swimming I'm the lake at the bottom of the waterfall and taking some nice nature pictures. A lot of the trails were over grown and could definitely use a good clean up"
"Beautiful and kid friendly!! Amazing during every season! Taking the entire hike will be about two hours if you stop to really see all the falls and historic sites Free parking available Cannot bike through, too many stairs. Walking trail only. Lots of picnic areas."
"This park lies on Dingmans Creek and has a series of waterfalls easily viewed from the trail. Some degree of elevation to deal with, after all they are waterfalls! I believe the uppermost portion is wheelchair accessible. Can be crowded on weekends in the summer."
