"First, I’d like to thank and commend Carl for his thorough review. I also saw the bald eagle (I actually saw two of them) which was really cool. The parking lot is small but I doubt it’s ever filled up. I lost the best picture of the house across the street that has a toilet for a decoration in the front yard and a “Guns, God and Guts” flag on the porch. I’m guessing they might have been the canal towpath keepers and then lost their job when it closed down. If I also had to guess, I’m inclined to say that they’re probably salty about it and complaining that some immigrant stole their job. Anyway, I’ll try to get back over there and get a picture to put up here."

"Small parking lot on the NY side of the Roebling bridge. A few nice little walks form this parking lot. You can walk over the bridge. Or under the bridge. Or up the river along the old canal route. There is also an old toll house here, which seems to be a museum but wasn’t open on the Sunday I was here. Great spot to see bald eagles. Almost 100% chance to see one if you wait 10 minutes and look in the trees."
