"Absolutely ridiculous business, my mother in-law is disabled with MS, she has been without fuel for 3 days now, they took my $260 payment right from my bank account and now tell me they can't deliver it til tomorrow because a liheap credit wasn't released til today for $62. I paid for the minimum delivery and was going to add the $62 to it, but they're still making her wait and she is completely out!!! If anyone by chance reads this and can point me in the direction of an attorney or legal recourse we may have, being she is disabled, please feel free to let me know!!!!!! The lady that answers the phone is ignorant and we will be ending service with locklins as soon as the tank is empty again!"
"I have been dealing with Locklin for over twenty years, at one point left for a competitor. Their service is second to none, arrived at my home with gas that had been used, within a half an hour of a call, truck was at my home filling the tank. Always a class act. Highly recommend their services"
"I've had other propane companies before and they don't even come close to Locklin's. Locklin's staff are always courteous, they listen to what you are saying and they always do the right thing. As someone who owns a second home in NEPA, I rely on Locklin's to keep my tanks filled. Sometimes, I cannot get up there to shovel a path to the tanks and I ask for a top-off before the storm arrives and within 24 hours or less, they are at my home filling up my tanks. The drivers are friendly and respect your property. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get propane."
"What company charges a tank rental fee? I called 3 different propane companies in the area and all of them said there are no fees and if they have a fee it was waived by the state in 2020 for the pandemic. Then I call your office so I can switch get rid of your company and the line is busy from 1pm until after you closed. Not even a voice-mail. Just busy. Glad im not having a gas leak."
"I have been dealing with Locklins Gas For a few years now. My first experience with them I was not happy I was renting a home that had propane for the stove. One day I called because I noticed the propane smell and it was leaking. When I finally got into contact with somebody he made a very sexist remarks because I was a woman and I needed a man to help me figure out why my tank was leaking and where it was leaking from. to top it off I had to call him twice about the propane smell the first time he told me all your tanks probably empty and that’s why you smell propane. My propane tank was empty because of the fact that it was leaking. Now I am a homeowner with propane heat. I always pay my bill on time except for one time due to the problems with the postal system at the moment. I did not receive my bill I received a call stating that I had an overdue bill for $80+. So now that I was aware that I had an overdue bill I took care of it and that phone call at that moment. But because I had one overdue bill for $80 they never filled my tank which led to my tank being empty. I realize that my home was very cold and I couldn’t figure out why so I just started to check the fireplace and I noticed the pilot was out so I checked my other propane heater and realize that pilot was out as well. I went outside and checked my tank and realize that it was empty. So I called the office and left a voicemail. Received a call back stating it will get filled when they’re by me again now that my bill was paid and now I have to pay an extra fee to get my tank filled up because it’s empty because they didn’t fill it when it was supposed to be filled I have an automatic system with them never again I am finding a new company. I’ve always had problems with Locklins and I am done."
