"There was a little too much rust at splash harbor for my comfort. We didn’t stay the night, just went for the day and the kids were able to swim all day. There’s a rusty air conditioning unit that drips into the adult only hot tub and when I started looking around, I became very nervous that the kids might get cut on the rust covered stairs to the slide. No imminent danger, but it would be great if they would update a bit! The environment was great and it wasn’t overcrowded. We were able to bring snacks and a cooler. The kids loved it."
"My husband and I took our one-year-old and had a blast. The first night, we had the entire water area to ourselves! We enjoyed the breakfast each day as well. There were plenty of options, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean, a bit outdated, but not a bad low-budget getaway."
"Stayed there for the Inkcarceration festival. Desk was super helpful. We had 4 people in the room and all 4 needed showers after the festival and it was easy to get more towels. The breakfast spread was good. If you have a pool side room it's likely going to smell like chlorine but we didn't care. There's a couple places to eat and gas stations right there so that was convenient. Would definitely stay again."
"While the water park itself needs work (cracking plaster, rusty stairs to the water slide), the kids had a blast. There's an adult only hot tub plus a hot tub for kids! Bathrooms and changing area definitely need renovations but at the price of admission and the open house to swim, it's a great idea for those rainy summer days or winter days! Plus, being within an hour from the airport in Cleveland is very nice (no turnpike required)."
"The room was very nice. Everything worked as it should and the AC kept the temperature. Very comfortable. Excellent towels and shower facility. A word to the wise. However, when booking a room, if you are somebody who wants to turn in early, make sure it does not overlook the pool area. The noise from it is definitely an issue. The pool does close at 10:00 p.m. and it would have seen the hotel is a good job of managing it, but in the interim it is annoying."
