"Unfortunately I have to leave a review that is not favorable at all. I am new to the area so I called this company because I'm interested in having locs installed. When she answered the phone (referring to the owner), she was very rude. I asked her if she has Instagram so that I could see pictures. She said she doesn't. If these reviews had the ability for me to leave audio I would be able to let you hear the tone that she used to respond to me. It was nothing short of annoyance. And honestly all I did was say hello and that I'm interested in dread extensions. This was my second attempt to call. On my first attempt, she merely answered the phone and did not say hello, she said "leave a message" using the same annoyed and rude tone that she did when I actually spoke to her. That was it! Who would want to go to a business where the owner sounds like she's annoyed if you call? Unfortunately even if she is talented, the rudeness repels new business and unfortunately I will not be going to this salon."

"I will get straight to the point service is good but the PRICE is ridiculously OVERPRICED! I am all for Culture owned businesses and US as a Culture is in desperate need of doing better!! I treated my mom who has less than neck length hair “Natural” was charged $165 dollars for something I could have done if we weren’t pressed for time!!! We were dissatisfied beyond measures if it wasn’t for my mom I would have took this to another level! But I expressed my thoughts and kindly left we will NEVER return! The reason why I went because it was a town over from Jersey City otherwise I would have went to my Aunts Shop in West Orange “Savoinas Hair Salon/Studio where she cares for your hair and have reasonable prices!! And yes I am advertising!! I may just post a pic just no one thinks I am over exaggerating! I would give a Negative One Star! I have long extensions a little passed my back in my natural hair and I paid $150!"

"Cancelled my appointment 4 hours before the appointment time and told me there was nothing they could do about it with an attitude. Won't be rescheduling. Also judging by the backlash from the owner to all of the reviews that aren't in the businesses favor, it's not run very professionally. After seeing the response from chann, I'd like to add that whoever called me to cancel told me chann hurt her arm a day prior to my appointment but didn't bother to call me until 4 hours prior. The staff at this salon appears to be disrespectful and insecure since they love to disrespect people who have had not great experiences. This is my "uneducated" opinion and I stand by it."

"Never going there again because the lady said my daughter had an glan disease in her hair because of the build she didn't shampoo good at all. The conditioner she put in was good but she didn't conditioned it right because her hair was tangled and conditioner untangled her hair. The lady Chad told my daughter she need a bra on an was talking to me in politely the owner. But the lady didn't know I was getting her bra the same day getting her hair done she didn't have none no more. She should have mind her own business I appreciate the share."
