"We just finished a weekend stay in the log cabin. It was so cute and had a beautiful view of the small lake. The inside was super cozy. You can see the water park from the cabin which was super helpful when trying to keep track of everyone. It was a minor inconvenience to have no water or bathroom but the bath house is right behind the cabin and wasn’t too terrible to walk too even in the middle of the night. We didn’t realize there was a small grill along with the fire ring so that was a nice surprise since the cabin only has a small fridge and microwave. There is no coffee maker but we found the cutest little coffee shop just 8 minute drive into town. You do have to bring your own sheets blankets and pillows. They do have a few cooking utensils, silverware, trash bags, paper towel and mop and broom. The only complaint we have was the mattress and pull out couch. I don’t think I’ve ever slept on something more uncomfortable. And I’ve gone on mission trips where I’ve slept on bare ground. The bed is a cheap foam mattress that you sink into. If you lay too close to the edge you’ll find the mattress droops down and you’re falling off the side. if you sleep closer to the middle you’ll find you and whoever you’re sleeping with will continuously be sunk into the middle of the bed and laying ontop of each other no matter how hard you claw your way to the side. It seriously was so uncomfortable. I don’t have a bad back but I do now haha. I wolk up with my entire body sore and a headache. I definitely am going to need a trip to my chiropractor after just sleeping lol. The pull out couch was no better. My husband slept on that with our toddler. He said there is two big bars that run across the bed and the mattress is old with no cushion so your essentially sleeping on the bars. My 3 year old even complained about it which tells you it’s bad. My husband and I both said if we ever stayed again we would rather either bring a cot or a blow up mattress and sleep on that instead. Be warned you won’t get a good sleep on the beds provided. At the very least you’ll want to bring a thick mattress topper. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable the entire campground was. The cabin was super reasonably priced and so were the golf cart rentals. In this economy it’s so nice to have a break from expensive but still be able to enjoy something nice so thank you ! The campground had a corn hole area, horse shoe area, and large beach and park. Our son loved the park. The water park was absolutely a blast! Our 3 year old with a short attention spand played on it for hours both days we were there and did not get bored. The park was clean and well maintained with everything working on the water rides. We had a great time as a family. The only big complaint we have was how rude the owners were. The staff was all friendly. Even the life guards greeted us and held a conversation. The owners acted like we were an inconvenience. We have small children and needed to check out early Sunday morning due to them just being early risers. Apparently the office doesn’t open until 10 which we found out because a cleaning staff let my husband in so we could turn in our keys and one of the owners was livid with their staff member for letting him in. Would you have rather they ignore your customer and be rude? There is no drop box outside. People have different schedules. If you don’t want to open your doors until 10 fine but have a spot to put keys so those of us that don’t waste our morning can get going. A simple box outside would stop you from apparently being inconvenienced. It just really turned my husband and I off to the place. We are all about supporting local but not if that’s how you’re going to treat people. All in all it was a good trip and we had fun."
"The kids (3,5,7) all had a ton of fun. There are quite a few things for them to do to stay busy. A great place to spend a hot day. Their food is reasonably priced and pretty tasty. They also have ice cream to round off the day."
"We had fun it was $16 to get in yea that might be a little steep for this small of a water park but we liked it and had fun."
"What a hidden gem! I've lived in the area my entire life, and I never knew this place existed. They have a wading pool that is 3.5 feet deep. Perfect for kids who aren't super comfortable swimming in deep water. (I believe this was heated because the water was warm) They have a large hot tub that isn't excessively hot. It didn't have bubbles like typical hot tubs, but it was so nice on a breezy 80° day for those of us who her cold quickly. And the main event. The splash pad with water sides and a giant barrel that splashes nearly the entire area. Never seen anything like it, and I'm a pretty avid traveler. The kids loved every minute of it. They have about 3 life guards on duty, and it's a really chill atmosphere. They had music playing. Family appropriate hits. Stuff you'd hear on the radio. Admission was $16 a person. Handicapped persons get in for $5. They offered food and ice cream along with having a small general shop for the Bay and the campground. (Sunscreen, candy, marshmallows, swimmy diapers) They have bathrooms on site where you can change. One inside the admission building, and your standard restrooms along the outside. We will definitely be returning."
"Loads of fun for our 3 Granddaughters ages 14,14 and 11. Something fun for kiddos of all ages. It's a very clean well organized water park. Snack and clean restrooms available. You can purchase a pass for the day or a few hours."
