"Loved my service! Place was clean, beautifully decorated and everyone was nice. My stylist did an amazing job on my hair. Appointment was at 11:30 but I was able to come in earlier. I was started around 10:30 and done by 5:45. I would definitely recommend Chrisma Braiding!!"

"I highly recommend Chrisma Braids. The style I got was the wavy braids and it looked amazing. The hair feels light and the style was done very neat. The inside of the shop is beautiful and the interaction with Chrisma was amazing, she is very professional and makes you feel welcomed. Snacks and beverages were offered during the service. My appointment was at 9:30am and upon arrival at 9:30am they were ready to start and worked the full time."

"This is the second time I’ve been to Chrisma Braiding. The staff is very friendly and the shop is really nice. They served refreshments and I love my hair. They do great work!"

"It’s giving SCAM! I wouldn’t waste my money here. They have no respect for your time and do not give you quality braids for the price. I gave 1 star because the place was very clean, but the staff seemed to have no customer service skills. I arrived on time for my appointment on July 15 at 10:30am and sat for a half hour before anyone touched my hair. They did not prepare the hair for my appointment at all. In total, I sat in the chair for 12 hours for the BHB braids. Just two days later, my hair was falling out in clumps. It’s a complete waste of time and money. I feel as though I was scammed. I reached out to the owner to see about getting the hair redone since it costs so much money to do and I want to get my moneys worth, but again I’m dealing with the terrible customer service. I guess we will see if this can be fixed, but I doubt it. Update: Owner responded with hostility, I guess she read the review haha. All she had to do was work with me, but she’s very unprofessional. Get services at your own discretion, but I would advise against, given their gouged prices."

"I’ve been back and forth about whether or not I would write a review about my services here. What solidified my decision to do so was the complications I experienced in taking out my Senegalese twists. Her reviews are so positive so I was reluctant because she may have just had an off day. But I encountered a number of issues with this experience. 1. She texted me at 12:00 in the morning asking me to move my appointment to an earlier time the day before my appointment. Of course I said yes because it was days before a vacation and it was too short notice to find someone else. However, that was completely unprofessional. 2. My appointment was supposed to last 2 hours. I was there for EIGHT hours. She stopped two separate times both over an hour long for different reasons without even asking if I minded. Again, unprofessional. 3. (Here is where the true issues begin). My twists were not consistent in shape or size. Some started as a braid, went into a twist, and ended in a braid. Others started as a braid, went into a twist, and ended in a twist. 4. I think my biggest upset was some braids had my natural hair knotted into the end of the braid so I had to cut my own hair. Although I was completely dissatisfied with my services I still left her a tip because I recognize and understand hard working black women. However, I want it to be known that my experience was horrible and while she has great reviews everything that glitters is not gold. I attached a few photos of some of the issues I mentioned. Update: After washing and deep conditioning I found I had a substantial amount of hair loss; both in my hair and my edges. I attached a picture of the lost hair. I had my twists in just under 3 weeks. I have never lost that much hair from my twists before; even twists I’ve had longer than a month!"
