"I barely post reviews, but after seeing two terrible ones with familiar circumstances and one being a week ago, I realize that despite my day being beautiful and overall unaffected by my mistake of booking with this business, I cannot let others have the same experience I did. I booked Cherisse for me and my bridesmaids hair and makeup. It was a big endeavor but she promised she could do what I needed in the time frame given, even insisting she had done this before. I reached out multiple times to clarify and confirm this. Come the day of the wedding, she not only showed up an hour late for hair and makeup, but also went two hours over the time she was scheduled until and made us two hours late to the ceremony. Hiccups at weddings are expected, but a four hour delay should NEVER be one of them. This situation dipped into photography and videography time (a financial loss), put me at risk of penalty with transportation, and inconvenienced many people who arrived to the ceremony and had to wait. Some guests actually had to leave due to the unexpected and significant delay. She appeared unbothered the entire time and not once attempted to contact me after this which is incredibly inconsiderate as she put a lot at stake that day. I was given a great price for her services and everyone looked beautiful, but it is still a one star because an artist should be able to perform the service they advertise at an expert level and a business owner should be able to keep their promises; it is the bare minimum. Please do not retain this company and seek services elsewhere."

"Booked for a makeup and hair service for a special event and Cherisse never showed up or communicated that she couldn’t make it. I even confirmed the appointment with her a couple days prior and she responded that she would come. Furthermore she completely ghosted me when the appointment time came and kept my deposit. She’s quick to respond when you initially reach out but once the deposit is booked, prepare to be ghosted. Save yourself the headache and last minute scrambling the day of your event. DO NOT BOOK."

"Horrible experience. Booked makeup services well over a month in advance for my maternity photoshoot with a deposit. Come the day of get a message saying she was running an hour late to my appt. scheduled for 11am which is now cutting into my scheduled photoshoot time, she compromised and said she can make it by 1130. 1130 comes no show, no call, no text nothing. Extremely unprofessional. Still haven’t heard anything from her and still has my deposit. Absolutely will never recommend her to anyone horrible experience."
