"This was my second time at the braid hive. My braider was absolutely the best. She was pleasant, professional, and very friendly. I took well to her energy as she did to mines. Upon booking I reached out to the salon because I have natural hair and I don't wear weave or extensions. I was told by the manager to book my hair under "braid down" mind you this option is for people who wear wigs but because I was told this was my option I should chose i did so, and because I wanted a simpler style with a bun in the back. Simple style part and my corn rolls going to the back. When we spoke via message we both seemed to have been clear and the response I got was "ok no problem". To make the long story short the information giving to me upon booking and when it was time to complete my hair service was dishonest. I support luxury black owned businesses to the fullest but if you are dishonest with customers that is a red flag. I would not recommend."

"Medium Knotless Braids: When you see a place with 5 star reviews, I think, these must be people they know, it has to be fake reviews. Well I just went to The Braid Hive for the first time yesterday and I had impeccable service, not to mention the best knotless braids I have ever gotten. The prices are so reasonable, the staff is great and the owner Andrea is such an amazing human being. I was there for 8 hours, and it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. No, you don't have to be as chatty as me, but she welcomed the conversation as well as the silence. If you want luxury braids at an affordable price, that will promote growth and not hair loss, please make an appointment and go to the Braid Hive! Their services and workmanship is too good to keep to myself."

"I have been to the studio twice and loved my experience both times. Everyone from the owner to the staff make you feel welcome and like an old friend. You are given information about your hair and upkeep and most importantly it doesn’t hurt!!! Forgot to take more photos of the hair but this style lasted way longer than I should’ve kept it and even then the parts were still intact when I went there to take it out. They are a full service salon and you can’t go wrong there."
