"The dock is nice and gives a great view of the larger pond and the two nesting towers. The one nest has a pair of osprey and their young (this is the one when looking at it. You can also see I86). The other large nest was not occupied when I was there, but it looked as if someone was living in it and just wasn't home. There are several smaller bird boxes I saw that were occupied by swallows. Lots of birds! Gorgeous day! The wetlands provide a home to all kinds of little birds and creatures (turtles, frogs, etc.). Keyword here is home...respect the land. Don't leave trash everywhere! Of course, this location, I am sure trash ends up blowing over from I86 (eventually), too. Nice place for a quiet walk in beautiful green nature! I found it to be peaceful even though I could hear the highway. I enjoyed the walk and the views and I loved the chance to see both osprey and snap a (bad) shot of them feeding their young!"
"Nice natural resource. Handicapped accessible with paved walking paths. Very dog friendly. The path does not loop around the pond, but a nice local retreat."
"Nice little place to fish or mayve have a small picnic. They have a couple tables, a garbage receptical and a portapottie. I've only caught small panfish here so far. I've heard there is also bass and catfish."
"Such a nice place to go fishing. Lots of wild life And beautiful scenery."
"Enjoyed the scenery and the birds. Saw a beaver while strolling the paved path. Wasn’t a long path and doesn’t loop around. There was a bald eagle in the one large nest."
