"Beautifully kept with alot of wildlife around."
"I recommend downloading their map from the website and make sure it's available offline before you go. Well marked trails are available for motors and non-motorized."
"Unless they have an event going on, you pretty much have the hiking, biking,, xc skiing trails to yourself. Snowmobiling is popular but restricted to only designated trails. Hunting is allowed during hunting season but you don't see many hunters. The snowmobile and xc ski trails are groomed regularly and typically in good shape. There are no ski or bike rentals on site but the trail usage is free with tons of entry points. Joining the Winona Forest Recreation Association is encouraged."
"Love it here!! Just discovered it last month!! Tons of trails for atv/snowmobiling"
"Highest snowfall east of Colorado. Great year round outdoor activities. Xcountry snowmobiling hiking biking fishing hunting. What's not to love. It's remote too. Just look at a map of the area and there is a big blank spot with no roads. That the Tug hill."
