"Wow! I was traveling, hanging in the Hamptons for the summer and had a cracked tooth. My insurance company gave me a couple options. I decided (and grateful I did) to drive to Riverhead. Not only did they take me in on the day I called, but fixed the tooth as well on the spot. The “bedside manner” of the team was incredible! In a world were there are lots of people that don’t care, this group really stands out! We live in Colorado, but my wife is going there next week for another visit as we were so pleased with this one! 5 ⭐️!!!!"

My dental insurance was taking a long time to verify my benefits, she was very persistent, worked on it for two days to ensure, that I wouldn’t experience any surprises during my visit. The dentist, Dr. Hawkins, was very gentle and kind he made sure I was able to get an appointment with the oral surgeon at the Riverhead location. "I went for a cleaning and it was great the hygienist did an amazing job! The reason for my one star is that my dental insurance exp and I have 2 small cavities that need to be repaired. They would bill my insurance company only $169 but since I don’t have insurance they are charging me $400 for each filling! How can you charge a big company $169 but charge a hard working person $400 each!?! The whole thing seems like a scam! Like people without insurance has to pay for the discount they are giving the insurance company’s! I will not be going back. I called 3 other dentist and everyone else is half the price! **** So I’m updating this review because I went to a different dentist to get my cavities filled that The Smilest dentist told me I had and after looking at the x-rays and my teeth I was told I DO NOT have cavities ! So The smile at was going to drill my teeth and make them weaker so that they can make money off me!!!! Wow I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone to go here! You will get work done you DO NOT NEED!"
