"The hygienist was kind and professional and the receptionist was kind and professional to my face. The Doctor seemed great but he saw me for less than 45 minutes then told me he couldn't finish and I would need to come back next week. My insurance only covers 2 visits a year so I told the receptionist I couldn't do that. She told me the 6-month follow up would be out of pocket. I told her I couldn't do that and she offered to call my insurance then reach out to me. They billed it as a full cleaning although the cleaning was not done. When I called with the insurance agent, the receptionist lied to him about how long it had been since my last cleaning. She transferred us to the doctor who was very agitated, he said maybe the receptionist used the wrong code. Since they were so defensive about fixing the situation, I believe it was intentional to use both covered visits. (They also confirmed that my plan was in-network when it was not, but that's on me, not them) PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE Edited: Thank you for responding! As the insurance agent told us on the phone, you can fix it by correcting the codes you billed so its for a debridement not a cleaning so I can go get an actual cleaning. Because you preformed a debridement but not a cleaning. As of 5/2/24 you have not responded to my email or called me or resubmitted the claim. Thank you for fixing this."
