Dr. Trava's journey in dentistry began right here in New Jersey. A proud graduate of Lycoming College in 1984, he pursued his dental education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), where he earned his degree in 1988. Further honing his expertise, Dr. Trava completed a two-year post-graduate program in Endodontics at UMDNJ in 1990.

With a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Trava established his first practice in Hawthorne in 1990, followed by Ho-Ho-Kus in 1993, Oradell in 2009, and Wyckoff in 2010. His commitment to education is evident from his tenure as an assistant clinical professor at UMDNJ, where he taught Post Graduate Endodontics from 1993 to 2000.

Beyond his practice, Dr. Trava is passionate about giving back to the community. He has volunteered his dental expertise at Eva’s Village and collaborated with the National Basketball Association. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored by the Paterson/Passaic Boys and Girls Club in 2010.

A thought leader in his field, Dr. Trava lectures nationally on advanced topics such as diagnosing patients with 3-D imaging and laser technology. He is also a published author, sharing his knowledge and insights with the wider dental community.
