"Great spot in any season to access river but also to catch a gorgeous morning sun as it crests over the hills. In winter, especially on colder mornings, you can get some incredible frozen trees and branches. For some reason that spot is a degree or two cooler than other parts of the river, thus giving you lots of icy winterscapes."
