"Checked in to immediately see 2 bugs scurrying on the wall when we turned on the lights. Eew! Asked front desk clerk where a good spot to eat was and he mumbled "I dunno. I use door dash." Not too helpful, buddy! We stayed for 4 days and our neighbor in the adjoining room (who apparently lives there full time) sang at the top of her lungs 20hrs/day. I kid you not. Visions of Simon Cowell cringing, danced in my head. Crumbs were left on the floor after housekeeping services were received. Struggled with the card key constantly getting into the room. But the bed was comfortable and it was conveniently located, so it wasn't a total loss."
"They did a fairly complete overhaul of the rooms over the past 2 years....a significant improvement. The rooms a pretty, and beds comfortable, if a bit spartan.....I'd give the Hampton a 4.3 and the Motel6 a 4.0, but given the price difference, the Motel 6 wins. Great location off of I-81."
