"Attended a summer concert (Umphrey's McGee) here during the height of COVID, in May of 2021. I had a great experience. I was able to score amazing (reserved) tickets, so I had my own socially-distanced "concert pod", which was terrific. Great view, and the stage and sound system were impressive. Parking is plentiful in a large field. The staff were friendly, and it was easy in, easy out for the most part. The COVID situation was handled very well - that is to say, with the health and safety of the band and concert patrons prioritized. I'm sure Republicans were upset (i.e., that their freedoms were violated and blah blah blah), which is totally cool with me. The facility is well laid out with reserved/GA seating options, and large areas for the Merch stand and concessions. Plenty of bathrooms. Would definitely go back; great setting for a show on a warm summer evening."
"Another really cool music venue in an apple orchard about 20 minutes outside of Syracuse, NY. This was a pretty large venue and was a wide open space. The apple orchards weren’t as visible from the venue but the rural setting was gorgeous for a summer evening concert. Due to covid the venue offered pre- sale pod seating options for some pretty big jam band acts. Different sized pods were available and pricing was based on how close you were to the stage. You could bring in your own chairs for your pod. Security was watching during the concert to ensure people were in their pod and not wandering into yours. If you aren’t familiar a pod is a space roped off for your group and you need fo stay inside your area during the show. You are free to use the restroom, get a drink, etc. But the idea is that it limits people crowding and pushing in one area. I like the pods and hope they stay around after covid. It’s nice to be able to have a little space and be able to sit if you want without being shoved or trampled. Another cool offering here was that you could preorder pre made coolers of drinks for your group to avoid waiting in lines. I hadn’t heard of this before and I thought it was neat. We weren’t able to try this because you had to choose 6 of the same drink and there were only 2 of us with very different preferences. Luckily there were a lot of drink stands open and the lines weren’t too long. A good offering of craft and regular beers, wine, spiked seltzer, water and sodas. Some standard food for sale on site as well. Tons of free parking not far from the venue entrance. Lots of port a John’s as well so you didn’t have to wait too long to use the facilities. All in all a clever and beautiful outdoor concert venue. I’d come back in a heartbeat."
"Attended Tedeschi Trucks last night (7/9/21). This is a beautiful venue. The sound was perfect. We were back a ways but the 3 big screens helped with visuals. The crowd was good, mellow and no mosquitoes! Parking was easy in and out if a little muddy. My only issue was the show was supposed to start at 7 but didn’t until 8:05. I hear that the venue is having issues with neighbors over noise. I hope they are able to work it out because I would go back in the future. ( if they had started at 7 and ended by 9 the neighbors would have less to complain about)."
"CNY's new hidden gem of a music venue. The place is beautiful. The venue itself is thoughtfully laid out, with video walls and delay towers, plus clean sight lines to the stage. Nice and level and grassy, with easy bar service. Bring a blanket or a chair and have a good time. Just don't try to tailgate - you'll be asked to move inside!"
