Lafayette Dental Associates: Sheffield DDS

"I have seen 6 different dentists in the last 8 years, and it has been mostly one terrible experience after another. I also have a phobia of the dentist, which makes my dental visits even more challenging. Usually, when I see a hygenist and explain my phobia, they lecture me about taking better care of my teeth (as if I didn't already understand that). One of the hygenists at this office is so nice, warm, and empathetic (I only mention one because I have only seen one so far). She was understanding of my difficulties and gave useful advice about how to go forward in a way that didn't feel demeaning or condescending. The dentist is also the best dentist I've ever had. Every meeting and procedure I've had has gone smooth, pain-free, and is conducted without judgement. In fact, the entire staff, from the office staff to the dental assistants are so incredibly warm and welcoming and extremely good at what they do. I highly recommend this dental office, and again that is coming from someone with a phobia of dentists."

"My husband went here this morning for several fillings. He came home so happy and actually excited about how great everything was. He had an amazing cleaning a few weeks ago (included cleaning under the gum line), that he couldn't stop talking about. But then to get cavities filled and be pleased with EVERYTHING that had gone on is beyond amazing. First time he had dental work and did not come home ready to kick the s#!π out of everyone. I can hardly wait till my own appointment with this office. Sounds like it is going to be a very welcome change from our former dentist."
