"A great local haunt in BedStuy, this place is always buzzing. Very laid back and light on the frills, this bar has a great happy hour that actually ends at a reasonable time )7 pm!), friendly hardworking bartenders, and surprisingly good food (even if the menu is limited). It does get really loud inside once there’s a critical mass, so this isn’t the place for a deep, meaningful convo. If you want less noise, they do have outdoor seating, but I’ve never tried it myself. Prices are super reasonable, and the bar tenders try to keep the service moving at a good clip. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby and looking for something low key."
"this is a classic 70’s Brooklyn bar. Great drinks, great oysters and a lot of fun"
"Always a good time at bad luck. A cozy, intimate space that’s great for a date or small groups; love the horseshoe bar shape. The bartender tonight was so friendly and nice. Loved the bar sando (mortadella sandwich), and broccoli was also super tasty."
"Don’t buy the food. Otherwise cool. Always walk past here after the gym and see that’s it’s packed so we decided to come and have a drink one night. Had a nice time overall and would come back for the drinks and it seems to attract cool people but I would never order food from here again. We got the pizza and fries. The fries were fine but the pizza was little hockey pucks and burnt to a crisp. Idk who would ever think it reasonable to serve pizza with full char on it like that but here we are. I can only imagine what the oysters are like. They should just partner with valentines on the next block and everyone would be happy. Just don’t burn it. Anyway I asked them to take it off our check and they did. Pleasant staff. Would def come back for happy hour and to drink."
"I like the vibe in this local neighborhood bar. Open concept around the center bar with few tables, patio and standing spots. Lights were mostly red The bartender (s) were super friendly and service was excellent. The cocktails we ordered were perfectly done. Menu has food too. Have nothing against them, and I wish them best of luck on their business."
