"Sooooo, really loved the look and feel of the place but have to say that the bartender there ( Thursday night) was a real dud. Part of the charm of a tiki bar (or really any bar for that matter) is how the bartender engages with its customers and this guy felt like he would rather be anywhere else than there. Did he serve us? Sure. Did he check in on if we wanted more drinks? Occasionally (he seemed more interested in talking to his friends who visited). Were the drinks good? Yeah. They did the job. Did he seem like he cared one iota if we were having a good time or not? NOPE, not one bit. In fact. We got the distinct impression that he wished we weren't there bothering him. To the managers of this place: make sure you hire some folks with personality or at least the semblance of one. You have a great place. Would hate for the vibe to be killed by a surly, holier-than-thou attitude (unless that's your thing)."
