"My wife, my son and I went in to order two beers and a water. The bartender (older) then asked for ID and my wife pulls it out as well as the bankcard. She politely asks the bartender to open the second beer after the first one is finished (or run a tab). He says he needs id for both beers and water as well and that "never mind, the bar is closed!" We leave with them following us out. We then had ice-cream and as soon as we got up to throw stuff in the garbage they aggressively came out the door to stare/intimidate until we left. This was our last visit here!"
"Walked in this chilly Sunday with a party of .9….we were accommodated in less than 3 minutes by the friendliest gentleman at the door…the tomato soup warmed my heart along with the grilled cheese triangles. and the margarita by Shamous (i probably misspelled that) was the final touch to get me across the Brooklyn Bridge. Being from NY the prices were what I am used to…about $150 for all of us (wings, soups, BLT, modelos, and margs…bathrooms were clean…and I can continue to rave about the great service all day. I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK! thanks guys!"
"On the side of the ice cream shop is a small bar. I walked in, one of the only patrons on a hot Saturday afternoon. The cocktail prices are a bit expensive, so I only grabbed one. The "Pisco Punch" had a good, tropical flavor to it. The bartender also gave me a small bowl of popcorn. The service was quite good, but the prices are a bit much in my opinion."
"From the Brooklyn Bridge, on the Brooklyn side, you can see an ice cream shop called Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory… but in the building there mainly is a restaurant caled The Buzz Bar. And it’s not the same business, meanning you can’t have an ice cream in the restaurant nor can you order fries from the ice cream shop window… no comment… We actually came for an ice cream but My son was hungry so my wife decided to go in and order something. Estefania and I didn’t want to eat too much but since we were there we ordered hot wings. Kai ordered an egg sandwich and some fries. What the waiter didn’t tell us is that there were fries with the sandwich already, so we ended up with 2 shares of fries instead of 1 as we wanted. I didn’t try my son’s sandwich. But the wings were just bad. The fries were ok, let’s say. The service was very slow and, although there are like 10 items on the menu (at the most), the waiter didn’t seem to know them… Finally, I found it very expensive: $12 for 5 small (and bad) wings, $12 for a very little egg sandwich…! Really not ok. Quality & taste: 3/10 Quantities: 3/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Originality: 2/10 Ratio price / quality: 3/10 Service: 4/10 How I felt afterwards: 3/10 More on IG @runnerandfoodie"
