"Absolutely delicious bakery in a part of town where that was sorely needed after Dom’s closed. Otok is pricier than Dom’s but with the way things are that complaint can hardly be limited to them. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches and croissants. Just wish they’d stay open another hour or so."
"My husband and I came for the private dinner option and it was amazing. It’s hosted by the cutest couple who are so accommodating from meal choices to music preferences. The multi course meal was incredible and it’s such a fun and unique experience getting to meet a small group of locals from Hoboken for an intimate dinner. They thought of everything to make the night perfect and made us cute to-go bags with fresh bread. We highly recommend booking for a date night or small group event! 10/10"
"Came here for breakfast to go and ordered breakfast sandwiches and a sfogliatella. The sfogliatella was fresh, the quality was great. The bread on the sandwiches was good, the filling not so much: cheese was colder than expected and the eggs were overcooked, but overall good flavor. Will come again to try other pastries"
"Got a still warm loaf of bread freshly sliced. Was honestly expecting them not to have a bread slicer given it looks like a soft opening. But yep, fresh bread is all it takes to make me happy from a local bakery. Staff was very nice, mentioned a lot of new offerings coming over time - most interesting to me being breakfast sandwiches. And sometime down the line pizza later in the day (bar will be high for any new pizza offerings of course). This place use to be Doms, famous for selling bread to Frank Sinatra. I'm not a Hoboken native, but everytime one of his sons were playing my mom (not Italian) would immediately say that he had his bread flown to him from Hoboken. I wonder where I got my obsession with bread from. Anyway, the loaf is good and the spot is charming. It'll be nice to pick up extra fresh bread on runs to the post office or Acme."
