"The Highwood is excellent. Great service, great food, and amazing atmosphere. The bar is equipped with great TVs & skilled bartenders serving great drinks. The spinach & artichoke dip or the shrimp cocktail is always a great starter. I had the riverside chicken with risotto for dinner and it was delicious. I recommend trying the tiramisu for dessert, one of the best in NJ."

"I really enjoy this spot in the neighborhood. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great. They have a fantastic variety of spirits and the menu is excellent. I highly recommend the pizzas, the Caesar salad, and the Highwood burger—just delicious! I've visited multiple times and the service has consistently been wonderful. Definitely recommend checking it out!"

"I had brunch at The Highwood, and overall would say that it was a good/average meal. What was great was the beautiful view of the Port Imperial Waterway Ferry, the water and the NYC skyline. The menu does have some uniquely served dishes, and one or two things were a hit - like the cocktails and the Guacamole and pork belly; while the oysters, chicken wings and the Shrimp and Lobster Burger were pretty average. It was a unique attempt at a lobster & shrimp burger, but the patty ended up being too tough, and I didn't taste much seasoning. Overall it was a good experience. But I would likely just grab drinks and enjoy the view if I were to go again."
