"We just came here for brunch and it was great. Firstly, the staff are very warm, welcoming, and attentive. We felt very well taken care of. We ordered, from best to least best: 1. The French toast: truly the star of the show. The tart berry compote + the sweet mascarpone cream = wow. My only tiny critique would be that I wish the brioche had been soaked in the custard a little bit longer before cooking, but it was still very very good. If you don’t order it, you’re missing out. 2. Parker omelette (cheese only + side of avocado): the omelette was super fluffy, and had the perfect amount of cheese inside. The sourdough toast was really good, and the side salad was simply dressed and complimented the omelette well. 3. Truffle tater tots: these were given to us on the house! Crispy/crunchy on the outside and moist inside. They’re light on the truffle, but if you’re not a big truffle fan, it’s perfect. They were slightly oily, but still tasty. 4. Blueberry lemonade: almost tied for #3. It was strong, not too sweet, and had plenty of blueberry flavor. Super refreshing, especially if you sit outside like we did. 5. Captain’s breakfast: all of the elements were individually good, but together quite dry. There were fries and toast included, which felt a bit unnecessary, and the eggs which were meant to be sunny side up were fully cooked. They should consider making this a potato/chorizo hash with softer eggs instead. 6. Iced matcha: it can be tricky to get right, especially if you’re not using the right kind. It tasted as though they were using culinary matcha vs. ceremonial, so there wasn’t much flavor at all. I asked for a bit of vanilla syrup in mine so it mostly just tasted like milk with vanilla syrup. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place. It’s still relatively new and I’m sure they’re constantly tweaking the menu, so I’m sure it’ll only get better from here. I’ll definitely be back soon to try other things."
"Will the owner was very accommodating. Coffee is a custom imported blend. Taste amazing. The lunch was great. They have dinner too wow. Definitely upscale vibe with this menu. Will be coming back soon."
"Deceitful when you first look inside! Don't be fooled when you first look in, this hidden gem has more seats inside, great vibes, friendly attentive staff and delicious food. The food looked and tasted so good I didn't even have a chance to take a photo of them. If you're in the area, give this place a try!"
"Just found this place on a whim for brunch. Incredible food! My brother and I shared the French toast- you have to add their homemade whipped cream, spinach and mushroom omelette, and tater tots. ALL delicious! Beautiful patio and reasonably priced. This place is a hidden gem and the staff is friendly and super attentive."
"Legit 5 Star! You must go and experience it for yourself. Below are my thoughts. Environment: Despite the seats being wooden somehow the atmosphere makes the environment feel cozy. Subtle enjoyable music playing in the background, beautiful Tiffany Blue walls that are complimented well by the simple chandelier, and regulated temperature. Service: Outstanding. Greeted upon entry and immediately sat down. Hostess was very friendly. Checked on us from a distance and approached us when it was clear that we were ready to order, knew the menu inside out, and even gave us a complimentary French Toast because of how much I loved it. Food: Disclosure. This is only based off of my order. I was pleasantly blown away. The French toast is very thick and fluffy. I was hesitant at first because of the size but the French toast tasted was consistent throughout. The Chicken that companies it was not overcooked and not over seasoned. That and chicken being moist is all I look for. The Cappuccino was by far the best I’ve ever had. I was skeptical at first because the coffee art seemed lacking but damn was it completely overshadowed by a great taste. Easily has become my go to place whenever stopping by West New York. PS: my friend ordered a side of Smoked Salmon. While she used the restroom I tasted it. It was so good, I finished the entire plate without her noticing lol."
