"Anytime I needed something done I would go here. They were always nice and great. I went last week needed things done but just got an oil change. A little while after I pulled out of their shop my car was making noise. It’s a fairly new car 2021. Next day I go back to tell them and figured they’d check and maybe it was a simple mistake whatever it happens. Long story short the owner took my car with me for a ride to hear the noise. At first he was looking for brakes sounds and said his workers were idiots and they don’t know what they are doing. Then I explained the sound and he said that was my muffler and I’m an idiot and I’m wrong and he’s going to take it to the place across the street and he’s going to tell me I’m a f’n idiot. Turns out the air filter wasn’t on correctly. The guy across the street was so nice and new right away when he drove it that it wasn’t the muffler. I will never use montauk auto repair again."
