"DO NOT RENT HERE. Returned car here and they tried charging me for existing windshield damage, even though I told them at drop off it was existing damage. Hertz claim services then sends you in circles for weeks until you can finally get a hold of someone to dispute the claim. Was able to successfully dispute the claim but was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had."

"Been waiting for a reservation for over 2 hours. Manger is just standing around outside “helping” people get to their cars. I need the car so I can get home. I’ve had two canceled fights since Friday. I will never come to EWR."

"The last two trips they have had no cars available. I prepay for my rentals and still had to wait for over 35 minutes. Hertz needs to do better with the number of passengers coming through EWR. The staff is wonderful, nit their fault there are no cars."

"The first two electric cars we got in were not fully charged. The second one smelled like smoke. The third one would take 4 hours to charge on a 24 hour trip, so I don’t recommend. Staff was too nonchalant. Hard to find in the airport."

"This car rental has been used by my family a few times it’s an easy access off the highway there prices are very affordable and they have a nice variety of modern vehicles. We had a pleasant experience from checking in to the vehicle we easily upgraded vehicle and was on our road trip. and was able to return vehicle with ease. Mr.Brian Francis was attentive, helpful in providing exceptional service in our rental from Hertz. Thank you again Mr.Francis. The only downside was that it took five minutes to return vehicle but an hour to exit the hertz lot after due to only one exit gate was being used to exit lot which with over 50 ppl online waiting for cars to pick up and over 20 cars exiting at same time was a big slow down. Upon leaving."
